Domain Registration Agreement

Last updated October 16, 2026.

This agreement covers domain names you register, renew or transfer through Barrera's IT Corporation ("Barreras IT Corp", "we").

1. Who registers your domain

  • Barreras IT Corp is a reseller. Your domains are registered through Enom, LLC (a Tucows company), an ICANN-accredited registrar. We are not an ICANN-accredited registrar ourselves.
  • By registering a domain through us, you also agree to Enom's Registration Agreement and to the rules of the registry that runs your domain ending (for example .com or .miami). If this page and those rules differ, the registrar's and registry's rules win.
  • ICANN explains your rights as a domain owner here: Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities.

2. You own your domain

  • The person or business named as the domain's owner (the "registrant") is the owner. We register domains in your name, not ours.
  • You can ask us at any time for your domain's transfer code (auth code) and to unlock it. We provide it within 5 days, as ICANN requires.

3. Ordering and paying

  • Domain search results show availability at that moment. A domain is yours only after payment and confirmation from the registrar.
  • New registrations may be reviewed by our team before they are registered. If we can't register a domain you paid for, we refund the full amount.
  • Registration and renewal fees are paid in advance and are not refundable once processed, even if the domain is later cancelled, suspended or transferred.
  • Prices for each ending are shown on our website and may change; the price you pay is the one shown when you order.

4. Renewals and expiration

  • Domains are not renewed automatically. We send renewal invoices and reminders by email about 30, 15 and 7 days before the expiration date, and the registrar also sends its required notices. A domain renews only after its renewal invoice is paid.
  • If a domain expires, it may stop working (website and email) shortly after the expiration date. For a limited time after expiration you can still renew it, usually at the normal price. After that period, recovering it may be possible for a short time with an extra recovery fee charged by the registry. After that, the domain is released and anyone may register it.
  • The exact grace and recovery periods depend on the domain ending and are set out in Enom's Registration Agreement.
  • Keeping your email address current is your responsibility, so you receive renewal notices.

5. Accurate contact details (WHOIS)

  • You must give accurate and complete owner contact details and update them within 7 days of any change.
  • The registrar may email you to confirm your contact details. If you don't confirm within 15 days, the domain may be suspended until you do.
  • Giving false details, or not answering questions about their accuracy within 15 days, is a serious breach that can lead to suspension or cancellation of the domain.
  • Owner contact details are shared with the registrar and registry and may appear in public domain lookups (WHOIS/RDAP), unless privacy protection or registry rules hide them. Where offered, ID Protection hides your details from public lookups.

6. Transfers

  • You can transfer a domain to another registrar or provider at any time, subject to the registry and ICANN transfer rules.
  • After a new registration, a transfer in, or a change of owner, most domains cannot be transferred to another registrar for 60 days.
  • Transfers into us may require the current provider's transfer code and may add a year to the registration, paid in advance.

7. Disputes

  • Registering a domain does not give you any right to a name that belongs to someone else. You confirm that, to your knowledge, your domain and its use do not infringe anyone's rights.
  • Disputes about domain names are handled under ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and related procedures and other policies that apply to the domain ending. The registrar must follow decisions from those procedures and from courts, which may include suspending, transferring or deleting a domain.

8. Suspension and cancellation

A domain may be suspended, locked, transferred or cancelled when required by the registrar, the registry, ICANN, a dispute decision or a court order; to fix mistakes; to stop abuse (see our Acceptable Use Policy); or for non-payment.

9. Responsibility

We are not responsible for losses caused by an expired domain, a registry or registrar outage, or a decision of the registrar, registry, ICANN or a court. Our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected domain in the last 12 months. You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is made against us because of your domain or its use.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this agreement; the new version is posted here with its date. Changes required by the registrar, registry or ICANN take effect when they require. Questions: [email protected] · 786-401-2211 · Barreras IT Corp, 66 West Flagler Street, Suite 900 #1672, Miami, FL 33130.
